WOW, what a fantastic day...

Thanks so much to all you wonderful ladies who supported the "Save our Hooters" event. To those who donated prizes, who ordered the kits and those who attended yesterday THANK YOU! There are still kits available, and I have some cards to sell this week, so I am still adding up the donation, but I know we will be over $500.00 to donate to the fight against Breast Cancer.

It isn't too late to order a kit. They are $40.00 and include the stamp set Contempo Christmas, and all the supplies to make 10 cards. The last day to order is Tues, Nov 30th. Just send me an email if you are interested.

Oh Christmas Tree

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas Tree! Now my dream has come true, much to the dismay of my kids! This is my Stampin UP! tree. I glitter the ornaments, made the cutest little ornaments with the snowflake die and the melty snowman, cut up some pop cans, punched them out and embossed them, added some ribbon and bling! The Santa boxes hold the door prize tickets for the Save out Hooters event. The Ladies will select a Santa, then select the package with the matching number.

This is still a work in progress, however, I have to say I am pretty happy with it so far.

You can see this in person, and take advantage of some great deals if you attend the surplus sale this weekend. Remember, all the retired stamp sets are $5.00 and all the proceeds go to fight Breast Cancer.

Next weekend is my "Save our Hooters" event. My good friend Joanne has donated all her stamp sets and said "sell them for $5.00 and donate the money to the cause!" What a generous offer. So, I am adding in all my retired stamp sets and selling them for $5.00 as well. Some of these sets have barely seen ink, they range in price from 15-$50.00. There is an unmounted brand new alpha set that will also be on the surplus table. There are some ink pads, some brads, and who knows what else I will find to add to the table. Door prize teaser

Aren't these the cutest little Santa Hats? They are so easy to make, even more so if once you watch the video on Kimberly's blog. All you need is a 4 x 8" piece of cardstock, an embossing folder, and a keen eye to mark out your score lines. The trim on the bottom was made with the fancy trim die for the Big Shot.

These triangle boxes will be filled with door prize goodies at the Save our Hooters event. So....if you want one...be sure to register before Thurs for this wonderful stamping event.

I'm Melting...

We are so lucky as demos, to have access to literally thousands of ideas on Stampers Showcase. When I saw this little melty snowman, I knew he was destined to be on a card. He is made so that you can detach him from the card, and hang him on the tree. All you need to make this little man are 3 different size punches, dimensionals to give him some shape, and a little sponging around the outside. I also distressed the edges a bit to add some more texture. The snowflakes are stamped in white craft, and the snowdrift is sponged with Marina Mist, then dazzling diamonds add just the right amount of glitz.

Hope you enjoyed the extra hour we got today. I made great headway on the prep for Save our Hooters. As a little teaser, this is a card we will be making at the event.

Contempo Christmas

Here is a cute card made with the Contempo Christmas set. Remember, this is the set we are using at the "Save our Hooters" event. Time is running out...you must register and pre-pay by Nov 11th, so I can get the order here in time for Nov 27th. This is such a great cause, and we are going to have so much fun.

This was one of the cards in the shoe box swap. The paper is from the Holly Jolly dsp, and coordinates so well with Contempo Christmas. Add in some old olive and cherry cobbler cardstock, and you have a fun, seasonal card.

These little Hooter Houses are full of treats. The milk carton die is so versatile, and who can resist those little owls??

Save our Hooters Update

Wow...what a great response we are getting for our Save Our Hooters Event. In a word, "THANKS" the power of one is incredible. Working and creating together we can make a difference in fighting this terrible disease.

Remember, the early bird special...everyone who pays before this Friday, will be entered into a draw for ANY stampset in the catty! What a fantastic offer. I will be making the draw on Sunday night....so be sure to get registered for the wonderful event.

There are some great bundling offers right now...including a bundle with the the stamp set we will be using. So, in addition to the set, you will also get an almost full pkg of designer paper. I will pre-cut what we need for your projects, and along with the stamp set, your package will include the remaining paper.

Breast Friends

These naked little Hooters are a reminder that Oct is Breast Cancer awareness month. Be sure to do a breast self exam on a regular basis.

Save Our Hooters...Fund Raiser

Good Morning My Dear Kind and Wonderful Friends. Once again, I am hosting a Fund Raiser to Fight Breast Cancer.

The Theme this year (totally "borrowed from Kris) "Save our Hooters!" Isn't this a fun and fantastic theme?

This year's event will be a little different than previous years. There will still be tons of door prizes,creative projects and lots of fun...but here is the twist! Everyone will get their very own stampset to complete their projects!

The fee is $40.00 which is due no later than Nov 11th. You will receive the stampset "Contempo Christmas" and we will create 10 cards and a bonus 3-D item.

Early Bird Prize: Anyone who prepays by Oct 15th, will be entered into a draw for "ANY STAMPSET IN THE CATALOGUE!" This is only available for those who prepay by that date!

For the first person who prepays, you will receive a Birdhouse gift similar to the one pictured as a special gift from me! Who will be the first to help me "Save our Hooters?"
