Where in the world has Wheeles been?

For the last 4 days I had the privilege of spending time with my fellow "Champions" from TDCT! As the top managers in the country we were sent to Dana Point California to the St. Regis Monarch Beach resort. Never in a bazillion years will I experience the service, pampering and luxury we had this weekend...and it was all free!

I may sound like a geek, however, a proud geek to say I am honoured to work for a company who rewards it's employees for doing our jobs. Ed Clarke our CEO spoke on how TDCT is only 1 of 5 banks, in the world, who is coming out of the banking fiasco on top! For those of us who work for this bank, we should be grateful to the men and women who have created a culture of service and who have made decisions that have made us on of the best banks in the entire world.

I haven't done much stamping (none) and I do have to get to work this afternoon, but I wanted to share a picture of the resort. If you watch the Real Housewives of Orange County...you will have seen this hotel, as they dine there frequently.

Thanks for stopping by,and hope you are enjoying this sparkly cold day!

The final project

Here you go...finally a picture to show you the inside of the card organizer. I made this one using retired designer paper, but for our special day we will be using the yummy new Raspberry Tart paper. It is fabulous.

Later on this week, I will have a sample for you made with the raspberry paper.

Enjoy your day, and don't forget to let me know if you are attending our special event on Jan 17th...lots of fun, food, projects and PRIZES...there will be a surprise or 2 as well...

Another teaser...and what I did today

What I did was go to PWCC and help with summer staff interview day...the kids are amazing...makes me wish I could be a summer camp counselor....For those who live in the London area, be sure to check out the link to Pearce Williams Christian Centre...it is an affordable, convenient and fantastic venue to send your children.

What I didn't do today was finish up my project I have been teasing you with...so I will tell you what it is and show you the finished project tomorrow morning.

In case you haven't figured it out, we are making a card organizer. Each page has a pocket for cards, as well as a monthly calender that you can record your special events on. In addition to the organizer, we will be making 10 cards...2 each of 5 designs to get you started for the card year.

The fee for the class will be $25.00, with a $20.00 credit back for your order from the NEW CATTY! So in reality...you will pay $5.00 for 10 cards and a great organizer to keep them in.

I need everyone to pre-register so I know how many kits to put together...

See you tomorrow...we are off to friends to watch the Canadian Boys, hopefully kick but in the semi-finals.

Here is another clue...How do you keep track of where you are going and what time you need to be there? How do you keep track of who is celebrating what and when?

I will be back late tomorrow with the final details and a sample of our special project.

Until then...have a wonderful evening...

Just Buzzin By...

Happy New Year my friends, it is a lovely winter day here in Ontario. We have the fire going, and are just chillin watching some old movies.

Did anyone watch the Canada vs US World Junior Hockey game last night? I have to tell you I am not a huge sports fan, but that game was amazing. Both teams are made up of very talented players...even the announcers said this was a game for the history books. Great plays, great saves...tons of excitement. It made for a very good new years eve!

I did get a chance to play with one of the new sets from the new spring and summer catty. I love these little bees, combined with the Washington Apple designer paper it makes for a fun card. The little bees are popped up with dimensionals.

Make sure you come back tomorrow, as I have a big announcement to share with you....
