Did I ever show you this one?

This is really one of my all time favourite cards. The marina mist goes so nice with the natural white paper...there is a fleck of blue imbedded in the white!
To create the shadow effect, I inked up the stamp from Upsey Daisy, stamped once, lifted off, then moved over slightly and stamped again...really adds nice dimension to the image!

My go to layout!

If you are anything like me, you leave making a card till the last minute! When I need a quick card, this is my go to design. Cut a piece of designer paper into 4x3" pieces, add on a top design, in this case I embossed a piece of very vanilla with the Big Shot, add some ribbon or a punched layer, and as quick as that you have a great card.

Thanks for stopping by....Send me your comments...do you have any special requests you would like to see?

Host a Chicks and Chocolate night and earn all kinds of free merchandise. You supply the Chicks, I will supply the Chocolate, we will have a fun night creating and gabbing...let me know!

Lovin the free Sale a bration sets...

I love making cards that have a surprise inside! This is a tunnel card, and with a few extra scorelines, and the use of the framelet dies, quick like a bunny a very lovely card. Here is a great TUTORIAL on how to make your very own tunnel card. It is worth the effort...the recipient will love it!

The floral motif on the front is a free set, available with any $60.00 order right now from Stampin Up.

Framelet Birthday...

This is such a happy card! Love calypso coral with the saleabration paper...The butterflies are a sizzlet die for the Big Shot, with tiny pearls for a touch of bling.

The Happy Birthday is stamped on a Sidenote from the spring mini, they fit perfectly into the opening made with the new Framelets.

Hope your week is going well...dust off those craft supplies and get creating!

Getting Scrappy

These pages were totally inspired by a fellow demo, who generously shared the dimensions. Using the salebration paper (I need to stock pile this as it is only available till the end of March) along with Coral and Lucky Limeade and pool party, this is a versatile and fun layout.

Join me on Sunday March 4th, as I demo this layout at Memories On Main in Lambeth. Give Karen a shout to reserve your spot. I will be showing the layout in Stampin Up products, as well as products from Karen's store. The other layouts will be posted on my Facebook page, so if you want to see them, "friend" me!

Ok....this should be the 2nd day in a row I am posting...how am I doing??? Let me know...your comments keep me going!!!!

Yes I am still here!!!!

Well, it is a lovely cold Saturday evening and since I haven't posted anything for ages, I am doing up a bunch of posts to last the week! Hope this post dated timing works.

This is what I call an "Instant Ancestor" page. The portrait is so lovely and really matches the vintage feeling of the paper available during Saleabration. If you look really close, you will see I added some direct to paper inking, along with a sidenote Attic Boutique collection in the mini.
Let me know what you think...I have some more scrappy pages to show you tomorrow...and I will be teaching a class at Memories on Main on March 4th. So excited.
