Lady bug, lady bug....

As a demo I have access to a site where other talented demo's post their creations. I was inspired by a fellow demo for making this cute little lady bug. My niece loves ladybugs, so it was natural that I make this up.

I embossed the whisper white with a texture plate from the catty, and dry brushed some pastels over the top, just to add a little colour. The lady bug is made with a treat cup, and the red skittles are her body.

There is still room at the crop on Saturday...drop me a line if you would like to attend.

Enjoy your day...I am off to work, then I get to enjoy a lovely 3 day weekend...I can hardly wait!!!

Recycled Treats

Happy Monday...wow what a change in the weather. Last week was sunny and warm, today, cool and rainy. Good day to stay inside and stamp.

These are recycled Starbuck Cappacino bottles. I washed them out really well, added some dsp, frilly flower on top, and yummy Easter candy inside. These were invitations to our family Easter dinner.

The chocolate bunny is stamped in brown, cut out and mounted on 2 large ovals, that look like Easter eggs. I cut up some old olive paper and now he looks like he is hiding in the grass.

Take a look around your house and see what jars, or containers that you have on hand that can be turned into cute little treats. Feel free to leave me a comment with what you transformed.

Happy St Patty's Day..and check out the Stamp a Stack!

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Pretty Paper Posy!

Take a look at this lovely posy! All the flowers are punched from paper using the new punch from the Spring Mini. All you do is crumple the flower this will break down the fibres and then you are able to pull it apart. I cut a styro ball in half, then hot glued it to the top of the pot. I attached the flowers to the styrofoam ball using pins. The container is from the dollar store. This is a great project to do while sitting and watching tv. I punched out all the flowers, then "pulled" them apart while watching "Rules of Engagement"...that is such a funny show!

There are so many things to make with punches...just type in "paper flowers" in google, and you will have tons of eye candy to feast on.

My birthday is this Friday, and I would like to give you a GIFT! Salebration is quickly coming to an end, so anyone who places an order of $65.00 or more, will not only get the free Salebration item, I will add in a pack of 8.5 x 11" paper...colour of your choice.

Enjoy your week, and don't forget to get your order in!!

Sorry for the double pictures, but I am too tired to edit!!

Chocolate Easter Bunny

This is a really cute little stamp from the occasions mini. I stamped him in chocolate chip craft ink. The embellishments are from the Eggcellent Eggs Kit, also from the mini. This little kit is so versatile, and as shown here...isn't just for decorating eggs. The kit is $13.25, and the stamp is only $10.95. The card base is whisper white and I used some grossgrain ribbon as an added element.

Thanks for stopping by...and get hopping...Easter is right around the corner.
