What we did on Saturday...and your last chance for Sale a bration!

Take a look at the fun projects we made yesterday at my Stamp A stack. Six ladies took part in creating 10 cards. There was lots of laughter and best for me, I got to meet 2 new stamping friends...

The Pacific point card is a total case from M.J. Albright...I love pacific point however really struggle with knowing what to put with it...MJ solved that issue, and the ladies were really happy.

The next 2 cards were made with the Sale A Bration set Polka dots and punches. We also used the free designer paper, and some of the yummy ribbon from Sale a bration.

The final card was also totally copied from Julie B...the vellum is embossed with the new Manhatten textured die from Stampin up...so elegant.

I will be placing my final Sale a Bration order on Tues night. As an added incentive, anyone who orders (no minimums!) will be entered into a draw to win the Polka dots and punches stampset I used in the 2 cards shown here.

This is for ANY order...a snail, or a re-fill? Need some paper? Want to go all out and order that stampset you have been saving up for along with some designer paper...go for it!

I need your orders by 6pm on Tues...and remember, if it is $60.00 or more...you can select something free from this MINI.

My thanks to Julie, Michelle, Renea, Mary Ellen, Betty and Fay, for coming out yesterday for our play date...it was a blast!

here a chick, there a chick...

What a great time we had on Wednesday at our club night. We made a wonderful card that I totally cased from a display at Regionals. There was no name on the board, so I can't give credit. We used the polished stone technique to create the background, then stamped with versamark, and embossed with white embossing powder. I used the flower from Embrace Life and it really makes an elegant card.

The Chickie bag is made from the top note die. The eyes are made from the 3/4" punch and the wings are the scallop edge punch cut in 2. The little hatching chickie is from the set "You crack me up"...a wonderful set for easter.

Remember Sale A bration is still on till the end of March. With each order of $60.00 or more, you can select a free stampset, paper or ribbon bundle from the mini catalog. You can order online here, or email me your order by next Saturday to get in on this once a year sale.

There is so much to show you....

WOW...I had a great weekend. On Saturday I attended a Regional conference hosted by Stampin UP. 600 Stampin UP demos and their friends attended an all day seminar learning tips and new ideas. We each received a package that contained a new stampset, and the items for 6 wonderful projects. I am showing you 3 tonight, and watch for the rest later this week. The 2 cards on the top are made with a new set coming out in the new Occasions Mini. The little gift card set was made with the new set we all got on Saturday.."Best wishes and More"..such a versatile set.

If you are thinking about purchasing the demo NOW IS THE TIME! Enjoy a savings of 15%, and receive ANY stamp set from the current catalog. There is also a new way to join the Stampin UP family...3 easy payments, spread out over the next 2 months. Let me know if you would like more details.

Be sure to check back this week, as I will be updating our class projects after Wed night...

Buzzin with ideas and news....

Hello my Stamping Friends...this is a great day to spend indoors in your stampin space...that is what I did, and here is a sample of what I came up with. My jumping off point was the Wed sketch challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. Roxie gives the dimensions of every layer, so it is pretty fool proof. The paper and ribbon are from the Sale A Bration mini. I love the spring colours of certainly celery, so saffron, bashful blue and sahara sand. Under a pile of scraps I found my crystal effects and popped the flowers and the bees. Add some glitter and you end up with a couple of lovely cards, just right for springtime giving.

I also am announcing my Spring Time Stamp a Stack. March 28th, from either 9-noon, or from 1-4. This is a 10 for $10.00 event...a great chance to meet some new friends, maybe win a prize and have fun stamping. This will be the last weekend for Sale A bration, so if you order $60.00 or more you get a free stampset, or ribbon or the terrific paper I used in these cards.

Please let me know if you are attending and which time..that way I know how much to prepare.

My springtime wish is that you find some time to let your creativity flow. When it does, post a link here so we can share ideas and tips.

Easter Ideas

Finally we are going to get some spring like weather. With that in mind, I took the liberty to totally copy a couple of very talented people...and here is what I came up with. The little treat box is a combination of the top note die and punches. The card with the Chubby Chicken is a total copy from HERE. I plan on making her little Chubby Bunny before the weekend, so be sure to check back.
A reminder that you still have time to take advantage of the freebies that go along with Saleabration. Check out my demosite here, for every order of $60.00 or more, you get to select a free item from the mini...check it out. Order online or give me a shout.
