Fun with the girls

I had so much fun today with 6 young ladies. Today was a P.A. day, so what better way to spend a lovely day than creating.

We did a Mother's day theme...and there is a project we can't share as we don't want to spoil the surprise!

The flower pot card with a coordinating bag is the perfect touch for Mother's day. Using various punches and paper assortment makes for a fun set.

Stay tuned..we are already making plans for a Father's Day class.

Happy Easter

What fantastic day here in Southwestern Ontario. The sun is shining, lovely warm day and best of all...I got to play!

The top note die is so versatile, and with some punches, and inspiration from various stampers on Splitcoast, my Easter treats are all ready. The true inspiration for the little bunny comes from Amy Celona. She has wonderful ideas and freely shares so be sure to stop by and see her creations.

My kids say I am a geek as I have certain traditions that I just can't break. At Christmas we have to watch White Christmas and at Easter: what else but Easter Parade. Oldies but goodies (and so am I).

I hope you enjoy your weekend...and we will remember the Reason for the Season!

Flower Pot for Spring

Whenever I am in need of inspiration (that would be all the time!) I head over to Splitcoast. As I have mentioned before, there are daily challenges to get you started on the road to creating something beautiful. This week I made this flower pot. You can get all the details HERE.

The big shot sure comes in handy for the flowers, but you could free hand them if you want. Let me know what you think, and if you get a chance to make one of these projects, please post a link.

Have a wonderful weekend...it will be so nice to have 3 days to spend with family.

Decor Elements

What happens when you take a blank wall, enlist 2 great helpers (thanks Meaghan and Ashley) and some decor elements from Stampin UP? You turn a blank canvas into a work of art. Using the decor elements is very easy...just follow the directions. It sure helps to have extra hands, and make sure you have time and patience...and you will be more than pleased with the results.

Here is a link to the Decor Elements catty. This is a wonderful way to really add impact.
