Good Sunday Morning
It is a lovely morning here in Southwestern Ontario, sunny and not too cold! This card is my first attempt at a tri-shutter card. It really is fairly simple, and if you need a video just do a search on google and you will get a huge selection! The card stock is pear pizzaz which I love, along with the matching designer paper. The front panel is embossed with the Big Shot, then I used some pastels to pop the little flowers. Since this card was for a very special person (happy birthday Ashley) I added tons of bling, and smootch spritz to dress it up.
Cards like this can be really bulking and it can be difficult finding an envelop to fit. The solution, make a card box. This takes a full sheet of paper, but goes together so easy. The tutorial can be found HERE! A quick tip, I used Tombo glue instead of the tape and it holds just fine.
Notice the little embellishment on the scallop circle? It is a little yo-yo I made using some new designer paper from the mini. There is a circle die for the big shot, and it makes cutting fabric circles a breeze!
Enjoy your day, and let's hope that the snow predicted for later passes over us!
